You can actually make money from online paid surveys. The process is relatively simple – you sign up with a survey company and fill in a detailed profile. Then, as companies come to the survey company and ask to run a survey, if your profile matches up the potential surveyor's profile, the survey company contacts you and asks you to fill in a survey. For each such survey, you usually receive a few dollars as payment.

Your payment is based on the amount of surveys you fill in. The number of surveys you are offered by the paid surveys company correlates to your profile. If you're a middle-aged woman from a household with average or above averages income, and have many interests and hobbies, you are more likely to be given enough surveys to actually generate a nice paycheck by the end of the month. This is one niche where young males are actually at a disadvantage…

Unfortunately, there are quite a few scams associated with this field of work from home employment. Here are two things you need to keep in mind if you wish to pursue this line of work from home –

1.       Stick to reputable paid survey companies only. Check around and run a search on Google on the company's name. Look for either scam alerts, or hopefully, plenty of good reviews from people who fill in their paid surveys and report on time payments.

2.       Never pay to work for a paid surveys company! We cannot stress that enough. Asking you to pay money to get work is a sure telltale sign of a scam in the works!
