Small business health insurance

When you start your own business and take yourself out of the mainstream of steady employment, many times you are left with no health insurance.

Many companies advertise for small business health insurance, but the rates are generally out-of-reach for many who are struggling to make their dream come true, and therefore funds are limited.

So what do you do?

If you are starting a business where you will be the sole proprietor, then contact your existing insurance agent and discuss with this agent your options with this company.

Stay away from the signs seen often on the streets advertising low-rates for small business owners, often those have the same effect as the work-from-home type of signs  you see on the streets too.

If you are planning on bringing in workers right away, then you will need an insurance agent to guide you. This is for your protection as well as your employees.

Include a Commercial Umbrella in your policy to further protect you.

Abide by all the rules and regulations that are set up once the insurance is in place.
