My name is Katie Sullivan, I am 22 years old born a May baby and have been an animal lover all my life.
I was raised with a dog, a lovely, Lab/Husk/GSD mix she was my best bud for many years, and also taught me the ropes of how to train a dog. I have a lovely family of supportive relatives, my mom and dad, my fiancé Steve, his two children and soon one of our own.
To me the biggest factor in choosing to start my own business was the freedom to set my own hours, and to be my own boss. I am a good employee in general, but sometimes the bickering and politics of office life get to me. I also wanted to do something that would work my passions with animals into the mix. I had a knack with dogs, as well as horses. Never met one I didn't like. We are getting going with the training and doing fairly well at it.
We have plans to rent or purchase or own facility in the future for horses and dogs. This will be a large under taking but it will help us to reach more people.
The best words of encouragement i can offer are to keep going. No matter what anyone says. You just have to keep plugging away at it no matter what anyone tells you.
